Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-07
The German version of this page is the legally binding one.
1 Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is Rudolf Zwieselbauer, BA (Hons.) MAS, Attemsgasse 23/2/3, 1220 Vienna, Austria, e-mail rudi@zwieselbauer.com, phone +43 660 520 3971.
2 Principle
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads no external fonts or content delivery networks and contains no embedded third-party content. Fonts are served by the website itself.
3 Hosting and server log data
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, which acts as my processor. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and a data processing agreement is in place. Server-side functions run in Frankfurt am Main (region fra1).
When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data: IP address, timestamp, user agent and requested URL. The purpose is secure and stable operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and operation). The data is deleted after the provider's short retention period.
4 Language detection
The redirect to the German or English version reads only the "Accept-Language" header of your browser. Nothing is stored.
5 Local storage in your browser
Your choice of colour theme and audience is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) or in the URL and is not transmitted to me or to third parties. This storage is technically necessary to provide your setting, so no consent is required under § 165(3) TKG 2021.
6 Contact form and e-mail
If you use the contact form, I process your name, e-mail address, organisation (optional), audience and message to answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries).
The form is delivered by e-mail. My e-mail provider is Uberspace, Jonas Pasche, Kaiserstr. 15, 55116 Mainz, Germany (uberspace.de), which processes the data as my processor.
Data is kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry. If a contract follows, statutory retention periods apply, in particular seven years under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO).
7 Automated decisions
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
8 Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. Please use the e-mail address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
